As a PerfectDraft customer, you may be interested in trying out different types of beer to find your favourite brews. One option you may encounter is alcohol-free or low-alcohol beer. In this article, we'll take a closer look at what these types of beer are and what you can expect from them.
Alcohol-Free Beer:
Alcohol-free beer, as the name suggests, is a type of beer that contains little to no alcohol. In the UK, alcohol-free beer must contain less than 0.05% ABV (Alcohol by Volume) to be labelled as such.
Low Alcohol Beer:
Low-alcohol beer, on the other hand, contains a small amount of alcohol. A low alcohol beer has an ABV (Alcohol by Volume) of 1.2% or below and an indication of its maximum ABV should be mentioned on the label. This means that it has a reduced alcohol content compared to regular beer, but still has some alcoholic content.
