If you're experiencing issues with the display on your PerfectDraft machine, there are a few things you can do to try and fix the problem. Two common causes of this issue are an incorrectly installed keg or an incorrectly installed tap unit. In this article, we'll discuss these issues in more detail and provide step-by-step instructions to help you get your machine back up and running.
If your machine is a PerfectDraft Pro and is showing a spinning line, the machine is just calculating the temperature. It can take up to an hour for the machine to calculate the temperature once the keg is loaded or after the machine is reset and the door is closed.
If the display on your PerfectDraft machine isn't working properly, the first thing you should check is whether your keg is installed correctly. Here's how to check:
- Open the front door of the machine and remove the keg and tap unit.
- Check that the keg you're using is compatible with your PerfectDraft machine. The keg should have a PerfectDraft logo on it.
- Ensure the keg is properly attached to the tap unit. Dampen the rubber seals with warm water & you should hear 2 clicks when it is being attached.
- Check that the dispensing tube of the keg is connected to the tap unit.
- Once you've checked everything is in place, close the door.
Check the display to see if the issue has been resolved.
